Yes, you can repost if desired. (However it's not to be used for commercial purposes)

EDIT: Got rid of the list of mares' & filly's mechs to be done, turnaround would be 2 weeks otherwise... Got one half done already..... :)

Explanation of the image….

Yes, it’s a little known fact, that long ago, Princess Celestia, when a filly managed to find a strange, mysterious bag and tube set sitting in Star Swirl the Bearded’s lounging room. With excitement she played with the ornately decorated thing mistakenly switching it on full power. Unbeknownst to her, it was called the magical bag of suction and dimensional wonder, Star Swirl called it the ‘Saccume Cleaner’. With a hideous whirring and shrilling noise the bag and pipe set proceeded to suck her beautiful tail inside.

Screaming and wailing in panic whilst clutching a nearby table for dear life, it wasn’t until 30 seconds later that Star Swirl galloped into the room and turned it off. Much to the relief of the young and traumatized Celestia, she was safe but her tail was now lodged between this dimension and another. Possibly the demon dimension she contemplated in further distress.

In tears and sobs, Star Swirl comforted her saying that she was perfectly safe and wouldn’t have been able to fit in the suction pipe, he proceeded to tug out her now dusty and mangled tail.

That day, all had been forgotten, until now…

Applejack was showing her latest rope trick, and Princess Celestia had offered to be the participant. However, when Twilight used the controller deck to bring Rainbow Dash’s new mech to the tea party for a presentation ceremony, it bore a startlingly loud and intense jet engine noise. Unfortunately that same shrilling, tail pulling sound and sensations all clicked in Celestia’s head. With Applejack gripping the rope, the whole traumatic scenario played out once again… Celestia bolted for dear life…

And do you think Twilight is about to do a double backflip whilst Rarity is cleaned up by Applejack? You bet!

(Don’t worry, the robot’s AI will make sure it won’t squash ponies)

Edit: Changed the backdrop slightly... Equestria backdrops are painful with semi realistic stuff.... Wahah!

It's been named the Thunderbow with thanks to :iconlandmind: for helping

Rainbow Dash looks like Jeremy Clarkson in the Demolition Challenge there.

Likely a 100-tonner, given the sheer number of jet engines RD has attached to the damn thing combined with the heat sinks to make them not cook the entire mech to death., likely a LL and 2 MLs on each arm, and a UAC/5, the swiveling jets could likely be used as giant flamers

Celestia I understand that you're experiencing a traumatic event again, but come on! Don't be scared and your mech will come in due time.

No disrespect for her highness just to clarify.

Does this mech utilize reverse joints at its knees? Is so, or not, how many other ones are? Sometimes it's hard to tell by the way they're positioned.

Reverse joint(?), I don't expect so, though your definition might be different to mine. I use a standard humanistic leg style connection for these types of robots. Hip Pivot, knee pivot (which is hidden behind a front guard). Except for the feet, they have several points of articulation. In the 3d Print models they required a different setout to be more terrain hugging. Twilight's mech uses a reverse leg joint though. I think the Battletech guys call them 'Chicken Walkers'. Like the Glaug Pod. I've got 5 base frames, the one above, reverse leg mech, turret mech, standard upright mech and the super light frame. Only the expo go-ers get to see them all currently. :)

Oh okay. That clears things up a lot. The thing that gave me the idea was on most of the pictures, the mech's knees would be positioned in such a way that sometimes it would just look like a straightened out 'chicken walker' (That cracks me up). That and how narrow some of them are.
-Obviously the exceptions I can think of are the Hellshock, Crossfire, Chaos Maul, Overkill, and Razorwing. The others were a bit hard to tell.

Thanks anyways.

So is that a yes or no? You can say no if you want to, it's not going to bother me in the slightest, on the contrary, I don't mind if you disagree with my post.... - S.C
